A powerful storm tosses a ship about in the ocean until the ship is crushed upon the rocks. The Little Mermaid follows Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure who saves a drowning human. Ariel longs to learn about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, saves Prince Eric.
Since mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel follows her heart and makes a risky deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula. A deal that gives Ariel a chance to experience life on land but places her life, and her father’s crown, in jeopardy. The Little Mermaid is in theaters on May 26th, 2023.
