Atredes and Chani sit atop a massive dune of sand. “Where you see sand here, imagine water. If you dive in, you can’t reach the bottom,” Atriedes tells Chani but she doesn’t believe him.
Paul Atreides has united with Chani and the Fremen and now seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.
