Lies About The Great Pacific Garbage Patch And Ocean Plastics

Over the past few decades, the plastic pollution in our oceans has worsened despite widespread public awareness campaigns and massive investments in recycling. With clickbait headlines and misrepresented imagery, a lot of online content is presenting inaccurate details that can harm efforts to clean up our oceans.

What we get wrong about ocean plastic and recycling does a lot of harm.
