Grand Antique marble comes from only one quarry in the world. The quarry is carefully mined for the rich, high-contrast marble. As one of the rarest marbles in the world, it can sell for around $2,000 per square meter.

Grand Antique is an ancient marble that formed over 60 million years ago. A tectonic plate collision cracked black limestone and those cracks filled with white calcite. World-renowned for its stark black-and-white contrast, Grand Antique has been in demand among the elite throughout history. It was even used for St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice and Joseph Napoleon’s tomb.
