Astrophysicist and NASA UAP Chair David Spergel joins Neil deGrasse Tyson and Chuck Nice. The trio discusses the UAP hearings, unexplained cosmic phenomena, dark matter, and more. Spergel discusses investigating UFOs scientifically and that most sightings are easily explained. He also states that 1% of the events remained unexplained and of interest.
Spergel and team even recommended that NASA develop an app for data collection on UAP events. Smartphones can capture high-quality media with intact metadata on the unexplained to better analyze the UAP sightings.
This was a great episode of StarTalk with guest David Spergel. The trio continues to discuss UFOs, cutting-edge astrophysics, ball lightning and lightning sprites, dark matter and energy, and groundbreaking tools like the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope plus ESA’s Euclid mission. They also discuss computational astrophysics and the Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies.
