Jack Reacher is a former U.S. Army MP who lives as a drifter, traveling from town to town across the United States. Season 1 was based on Lee Child’s 1997 debut novel Killing Floor. In season 1, Reacher is arrested for murder, freed, and teams up with two honest police officers to investigate the corrupt.
Season 2 was based on Child’s novels Bad Luck and Trouble. In season 2, Reacher is contacted by a former member of his unit about a member being murdered, so Reacher reassembles his old team to find the killers.
Season 3 was based on Child’s 2003 novel Persuader. In season 3, Reacher delves into a vast criminal enterprise to rescue a DEA informant and is confronted with his past.
