The Narrator is a depressed insomniac who meets a soap salesman named Tyler Durden. After the Narrator’s home explodes, he calls Tyler Durden to meet for drinks. They bond over a fight and begin to stay at Durden’s place; WWTDD.
The two have very different personalities but end up living together in a dilapidated house and forming an underground club for distinguished gentlemen. The Fight Club flourishes until their friendship devolves as a woman attracts Tyler’s attention and divides the two.
Fight Club was directed by David Fincher with the screenplay by Jim Uhls based on Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. Starring Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Helena Bonham Carter, Meat Loaf Aday, and Jared Leto.
