Tommy Wiseau’s first feature, “The Room,” is a cult hit and the writer, director, producer, and actor is back for another bite at the big screen with “Big Shark.” The film follows three firefighters, Georgie, Patrick, and Tim, as they try to save New Orleans from a big shark.
While this first look at “Big Shark” is only now being debuted online, the trailer has already been playing for audiences at theatrical screenings of “The Room” over recent months and a trailer for the project first debuted back in 2019.
“Big Shark” will kick off its rollout in April at Cinema 21 in Portland, Ore. with screenings to follow over the coming months, with engagements at Prytania Theatres at Canal Place in New Orleans, the Balboa Theatre in San Francisco, California, the Landmark Westwood in Los Angeles, and the Village East by Angelika in New York City.
Tommy Wiseau will be appearing in person for this first series of self-branded “Pre Premier” screenings for about eight months, with a release of the “Official Final Cut Version” of “Big Shark” to follow.
