In Norway, a train roars along the tracks, with crew on the exterior filming an incredible action scene. The Mission Impossible team had to build a train in order to destroy it.
Writer/Director Christopher McQuarrie discusses how they wanted to build upon the previous films and apply that experience and knowledge into a practical filmmaking scene that no one in the world is doing and may never be done again. In order to bring that action sequence to another level, the team built their train and then engaged in stunts onboard and on top of that train while it blasts down the tracks in a valley.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is in theaters on July 12th, 2023.
