The New Frontiers Update delivers a new map, gameplay changes, matchmaking changes, user interface changes, and a lot more. The Dota 2 map has been expanded with 40% more terrain.
The core objective of the game remains the same and the lanes are not further away from each other, so everything you need to win is still at the center of the map. But with so much more terrain, there’s plenty of room to reap new resources and discover new strategies. Both main jungles were reconfigured, shaking up vision placement, juke routes, farming, and more.
